CULLMAN – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has arrested three individuals in connection to the beating and robbery of Steven Lee Mosley, of Morris, that occurred earlier this month.

Vaughn McClain, 48 years old of Foley, was charged with Robbery 1st degree.

Zachary Madison, 20 years old of Locust Fort, was charged with Robbery 1st degree.

Angela Richardson, 46 years old of Gardendale, was charged with Robbery 1st degree.

CCSO believes that Ms. Richardson, the ex wife of Mr. Mosley, hired the other two individuals, Mr. McClain and Mr. Madison, to rob and beat Mr. Mosley with the pretense of going on a test drive with Mr. Mosley to buy his Chevrolet Tahoe.

“I would like to thank the investigators for their tireless work on this case. The citizens of Cullman County do not want crime being imported into our community. I am proud we are sending a message we will aggressively pursue offenders who commit crimes in Cullman County regardless of their location”, said Sheriff Matt Gentry.

Mr. McClain and Mr. Madison are currently being held in the Cullman County Detention Center while Ms. Richardson has made bond.

Other arrest and charges may be pending.
