A Graveside Service, with military honors for Hulen Lewis Briscoe, age 86 of Cullman, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Cullman City Cemetery, with Pastor Zack Freeman officiating; burial at Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Briscoe passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born, July 26, 1940, to Herman Briscoe and Willa Mae Harris Briscoe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rachel Patterson Briscoe; his baby brother Jerry Charles Briscoe.
Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” Pitmon (Loren) and Teresa Briscoe; grandchildren, Savanna Freeman (Zack), Jacob Chumley (Tosha); great grandchildren, Danny Freeman, Drew Freeman, Zoe Freeman, Graesen Chumley and Harley Chumley; sisters, Elsie Faye Stafford, Bobbie Jean Hutson (Carl); lifelong friends, Hugh and Sarah Arnold; and host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Hulen Briscoe was a hardworking man with the most precious and loving heart. He loved his family with all that he had and was always there when we needed him. He taught us the meaning of hard work, love, strength, and devotion. His presence brought comfort, and his love was something we could always count on. I am so thankful for every moment and every memory, He will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever carried in our hearts. He was all these things but most of all he was our Daddy ❤️
