CULLMAN, Ala. – The 10th annual Harvest to Home Local Foods Dinner and Auctions, the North Alabama Agriplex’s signature fundraiser, will take place Thursday, Aug. 27, at The Venue at Cotton Creek. Doors open at 5 p.m., with dinner served promptly at 6.
“Enjoy a delicious, seasonal farm-to-table dinner highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients, prepared by Local Eats LLC. Then, browse and bid on unique silent and live auction items while supporting the North Alabama Agriplex’s mission to connect our community with agriculture, good food and hands-on education. Our emcee is the captivating Melanie Maddox. The engaging Kent Stanford and his team will lead the live auction,” The Agriplex said in a media release.
The night’s cash bar will feature “refreshing watermelon-inspired cocktails, mocktails and more. What better way to celebrate the flavors of summer!”
The Agriplex thanked event sponsors Cullman Jefferson Gas, Sprout Fiber Internet, Karma’s Coffee House, Jubilee Kitchen & Bar, Cullman Savings Bank and Alabama Web Press. It said there will be a photo booth sponsored by Stefani Nelson of ALFA Insurance.
Tickets are $52 per person or $520 for a table of eight and may be purchased at the North Alabama Agriplex office or www.agriplex.org. All proceeds support the Agriplex’s outreach and educational programming.
