Rex Daniel Kugler, 86, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on March 21, 2026. Born May 27, 1939, Rex was a beloved and cherished husband, father, and grandfather whose devoted presence shaped the lives of those around him.
Throughout his life, Rex was known as a generous, hard-working, and honest man—loyal in friendship, wise in counsel, and steady in the ways that mattered most.
Rex served in the Army National Guard and later dedicated 36 years of work at Monsanto/Nova Corp, a career that reflected his commitment and perseverance.
Rex is survived by his wife, Virginia Anders Kugler; his son, Keith Daniel (Monica) Kugler; his grandchildren, Kyle D.(Amber) Kugler and Stedmon (Lindsay) Kugler; and his great grandchildren, Kade, Kaci and Kennedy Kugler. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lee Kugler; his sister, Sandra Lou Kugler; and his parents, Darse Daniel “Ted” and Maudie Lou Huffstutler Kugler.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Moss-Service Funeral Home, March 25, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel.
