Funeral service with military honors for Charles Ray “Cha Cha” Phillips, 93, of Crane Hill will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Union Grove Cemetery, Rev. Randy Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Phillips passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, The Folsom Center. He was born Dec. 5, 1932,Charles Sanford & Grace Dean Bolt Phillips. Charles proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. Charles loved the Lord and was glad to tell everyone. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was still water skiing at the age of 80.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life for 65 years, Joyce G. Phillips; brother, James Phillips; great-grandson, Alex Currington.
He is survived by sons, Randy (Jenny) Phillips, Rex Phillips; grandchildren, Tanya (Tim) Arnold, Tim (Melanie) Phillips, Cody (Andrea) Phillips, Cory (Emily) Barnes; eight great-grandchildren; one great- great grandchild; sisters, Gail Namaker, Melba Strong; family and friends.
