Amanda Thompson, age 58, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on January 22, 2026.

She loved God with all her heart, mind, and soul, and her faith guided the way she lived her life every single day. She was a devoted homemaker, a loving and faithful wife to her husband, Mark, for 38 wonderful years, and a deeply caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was known for her generous spirit and would give to anyone in need without hesitation. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren truly had her wrapped around their fingers and brought her endless joy.

She had a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room, and she loved spending quiet time reading. Her home was always a place of comfort, love, and warmth for everyone who entered.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Shae (Dale) Calahan; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Preston Mark Thompson.

Her life was a beautiful example of faith, love, and kindness, and she will be remembered for the way she cared for others and the way she made everyone feel at home.
