CULLMAN, Ala. – A Cullman woman died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night. Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick said Crystal Lynn Brooks, 48, was pronounced dead at Cullman Regional on Nov. 22, 2025.
Brooks was struck by at least one vehicle on Lessman Street Southwest near Parker Avenue Southwest at approximately 9:55 p.m., according to Kilpatrick.
The Cullman Police Department said officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Lessman Street Southwest near Veigl Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers identified the pedestrian as Crystal Lynn Brooks, a resident of Cullman. Ms. Brooks was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.”
The Cullman Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is actively investigating the incident. No further details are available at this time.
