Obituary: Mildred Lorene Vincent

Funeral services for Mildred Lorene Vincent, 74, of Hanceville will be 11 a.m. Thursday August 28th at Hanceville Funeral Home chapel.  Burial will follow the service at Garden City Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Ms. Vincent was born April 10, 1951, to the late Cecil & Irene Vincent.  She passed away August 26, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Lorene was a warm and caring soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved sitting down with her coloring books, creating bright and cheerful pages that reflected her personality. A devoted Alabama football fan, she could always be found cheering on the Crimson Tide each season. She also enjoyed listening to the timeless music of Elvis Presley and Loretta Lynn, whose songs brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.

Lorene will be remembered for her kind heart, her laughter, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Vincent is survived by her uncle, Curtis (Mary) Casey; Aunt, Bobby (Gary) Graves; a special caregiver & cousin, Angie Lanier; and many other cousins.

Ms. Vincent was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Irene Vincent.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carlton Kelley, Scott Lanier, Casey Kelley, Clay Lanier, Michael Graves, and Ethan Graves.
