CULLMAN, Ala. – Sometimes, dreams don’t have to feel so far away, and Hope Horses is one step closer to its dream of expanding its facilities thanks to a new arena sponsorship from Cullman Savings Bank in support of the nonprofit’s Grow Hope Capital Campaign.
“This partnership represents so much more than an investment in our facility. It’s an investment in the children and adults who depend on Hope Horses and the therapeutic benefits of equine-assisted services,” said Kelsey Scott, executive director of Hope Horses. “With the support of Cullman Savings Bank, we’ll be able to make significant improvements to our riding arena, including expanding it from a partially covered arena to a fully covered riding space. Their support will also help us make improvements and maintain the arena so it remains a safe, dependable and welcoming place for our participants, families, volunteers, staff and, of course, our horses.”
The improvements are particularly important for Hope Horses, which provides therapeutic equine services year-round. A fully covered arena will provide greater protection from Alabama’s heat, rain and other weather conditions that can interfere with lessons and programming.
With participants at the forefront of the project, the arena will be much more than a place to ride. Hope Horses uses equine-assisted services to help children and adults work toward individual goals, including building confidence, improving communication and social skills, developing relationships and reaching physical milestones. The expanded arena will give participants a more dependable space to continue working toward those goals.

The arena sponsorship is part of the nonprofit’s larger Grow Hope Capital Campaign, which is focused on expanding the Hope Horses facility and developing the infrastructure needed to serve more individuals and families throughout North Alabama.
Community members will have an opportunity to learn more about those plans during the 2026 Grow Hope Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Hope Horses facility.
The dinner will bring together Hope Horses families, supporters, businesses and community partners while giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about the Grow Hope Capital Campaign, hear stories from those impacted by the organization’s services and see what Hope Horses hopes to accomplish through the expansion.
White Oak Transportation will serve as the presenting sponsor for this year’s Grow Hope Dinner.
