Funeral services for Sandra M. Ganus, 82, of Cullman will be 2 p.m. Tuesday August 11th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday August 10th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ganus was born April 11, 1944, in Walker County, Alabama. She passed away August 6, 2026, in Cullman County, Alabama.
Mrs. Ganus, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and dedicated homemaker, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
Sandra found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. As a wonderful wife, she was a constant source of strength, encouragement, and companionship. As a mother, she lovingly guided her children with patience, wisdom, and unconditional love, creating a home filled with warmth and treasured memories. Her grandchildren were among her greatest blessings, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, celebrating their accomplishments and surrounding them with endless affection.
As a homemaker, Sandra took great pride in making her house a welcoming home. Whether preparing family meals, offering a listening ear, or simply bringing everyone together, she had a special gift for making others feel loved and cared for. Her gentle spirit, selfless heart, and quiet acts of kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Mrs. Ganus is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ganus; children, David Ganus, Crystal Ganus-Moss; grandchildren, Levi Ganus, Scarlett Ganus Boland (Shelton), Caleb Etheridge, Isaiah Etheridge; sister, Dorothy Ridley; brothers, Joe Conley, Kelly Myers; and a host of nieces, and nephews.
Mrs. Ganus was preceded in death by her father, Roy Myers; mother, Louise Conley; sisters, Judy Fredrick; Glenda Furgeson; and her brother, Wayne Myers.
