Anna (Cullman County Animal Shelter)

CULLMAN, Ala. – Anna is an approximately 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a gentle spirit, a happy heart and plenty of love to share. She’s The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week.

Anna has a low-to-medium energy level, making her an easygoing companion who is still ready for an afternoon of running and playing in a large yard. Friendly and welcoming, she never meets a stranger and happily greets new people as though they are already part of her family.

Beyond her playful personality, Anna possesses an especially caring nature. When someone has difficulty getting up from the ground, she calmly stands still and provides steady support without hesitation. Her patience, attentiveness and natural desire to help could allow Anna to become an extraordinary therapy or companion dog.

Whether she is offering quiet comfort or joining her person for some outdoor fun, Anna appears ready to form a loyal and lasting bond.

Anna’s adoption fee is $130 and includes her spay, rabies vaccination, microchip, general vaccinations, dewormer and wellness examination.

To meet Anna, visit the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE. It’s open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. You can also call 256-734-5448 or email cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.

If Anna has already been adopted, the shelter has many other wonderful animals waiting for their own loving homes.
