CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman’s MomCo group will officially launch on Monday, Aug. 3. The gathering will be held at Northbrook Baptist Church from 9-11 a.m. The church is located at 3691 Alabama Highway 157.
Organizers Katie Bentley and Danielle Adams started MomCo as a way to offer community to mothers who need fellowship.
“Motherhood is hard. Mom friends help,” they wrote on their social media page.
“We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together,” they emphasized.
When it comes to socialization in motherhood there has to be available childcare, schedule flexibility and the right time between your child’s or children’s daily routine. MomCo is offering coffee and childcare during this gathering to allow the moms in attendance a chance to have that time to bond and relate to one another.

Organizers wrote the following: “We love MomCo Kids! Our goal is to take excellent care of them while you enjoy your time with other moms. We will engage with stories, songs, and age-appropriate play. Help us get to know you and your child! You can update your information at any time – just talk to your KidsCo leader.”

All gatherings will be held at Northbrook Baptist Church from 9-11 a.m.
“Each year MomCo chooses a theme, and this year is ‘Good Company.’ This theme emphasizes bringing back real, analog friendships over polished, curated social media connections,” Bentley explained.
The “Good Company” theme was selected to provide a glimpse into a slower lifestyle, but the gatherings will not be reduced to, or centered around, analog-style parenting.
They will include practical teachings through guest speakers, videos and demonstrations.
“You’ll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood,” organizers noted.
