CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office will host its annual rodeo sponsor dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 9, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Cotton Creek Warehouse in Cullman.
According to Sheriff Matt Gentry, the 2024 dinner had overwhelming success to say the least (more than 700 attended) and they are hoping for the same support in 2025.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of our sponsors for their support,” Gentry said. “It makes this rodeo possible year after year, and it’s their commitment that helps keep Cullman County the special place we all love. By standing with the sheriff’s office, they not only invest in public safety — they also make a real difference in the lives of our special needs programs and the families they serve across the county.”
Gentry said he wants to thank everyone for believing in the community.
“Thank you for believing in our mission, and thank you for helping us continue traditions that bring us all together,” Gentry said.
The Special Needs Rodeo is Thursday, Dec. 11, kicking off the weekend for the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office Jimmy Arrington Memorial Rodeo Dec. 12-13.
Gates open at 5 p.m. both days, with the kids’ scramble at 7, and the rodeo performance at 7:30.
Tickets are cash only at the door. Adults are $10; children/students $8; kids 6 and younger get in free. An ATM will be available on-site.
