Scottie Turner, age 44 of Hayden, AL passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. He was born, August 8, 1980, to Robert Lester Turner and Mildred Turner.
He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Timmy Barnett; niece, Natosha Barnett; great niece, Alyssa Stager and his grandparents.
Survivors include his father; son, Dakota Turner; sisters, Amy Holderfield (Daniel) and Tabitha Smith; brother, Jerrime Turner and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
From Scott’s son, Dakota Turner:
My dad made me very proud. He did a lot of things to fix himself and make life better for himself and everyone around him. He was a fighter and never gave up. He was a great guy who loved God and his church family at Friendship Independent Church of God. He was passionate about wrestling and was a good wrestler himself. We will always remember him as the one who made them laugh and made family gatherings fun. We will miss him so much.
