It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Harry C. Roach, who departed this life on June 9, 2025, at the age of 93. Harry was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, cherished friend and a respected physician. His warmth, compassion and commitment to others left an enduring mark on all who knew him.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 18, 1931, Harry spent 71 years in his hometown before making Cullman, Alabama, his home for the past 23 years. He earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in 1953 and served honorably in the U.S. Army as a member of the 101st Infantry Division from 1953 to 1955. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1961 and dedicated his career to serving others as an OB-GYN physician. Over more than three decades, Harry helped bring new life into the world and guided countless families with care and compassion during life’s most meaningful moments.

Harry’s love for life extended well beyond his profession. An adventurous spirit, he found joy in travel, exploring the world and creating treasured memories with loved ones. He had a deep fondness for Shar-Pei dogs, a passion for birdwatching, and was a skilled bridge player, earning the distinction of Life Master.

Harry is survived by his beloved wife, Pat; children, Margaret (Phil) and Jeff; stepchildren, Dana and Jerry; 18 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, Bill.

He is preceded in death by his stepsons, Harry (Jamie) and Gary Betz, who remain forever in our hearts.

Burial will be at Highlands Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky at a later date.

Thank you, Harry, Dad, Pops- for the countless memories, the lessons and the love. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace.
