Martin Marion Patterson, 89, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on June 14, 2025. He was born in Holly Pond, Alabama on November 12, 1935, to Eddie Sylvester Patterson and Mary Belle Cass Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Juanita Hunt and Imagene McIntosh. Martin is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bonnie Patterson, his sons Barry and Brent, his daughters in law Michelle and Kristy, and his 6 grandchildren, Russell, Ivy, Brady, Elliott, Sam and Reece.
After graduating from Holly Pond High School in 1954, Martin served his country in the 82nd Airborne while stationed in Germany. After completing his stint in the Army, he returned to Cullman County where he married and started a family. He retired from Dunlop Tire in Huntsville after spending 32 years with the company.
A funeral service will be held at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday June 19, 2025, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Center Point Baptist Cemetery 1584 CR-1650 Cullman, 35058.
