Funeral Service for Mary Frances Tanner, age 90 of Cullman, will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. John Bussman officiating; burial at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tanner passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at her residence. She was born November 4, 1934, to William Edward Zinsmeister and Mary Elizabeth Hudgens Zinsmeister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Ray Tanner and her brother, Fredrick Zinsmeister.
Survivors include her son, Buddy Tanner (Amanda), Billy Tanner (Charlene), Roger Tanner; grandchildren, Christin Tanner, Dustin Tanner, Steven Tanner, Brandon Tanner, Alex Tanner (Kristen), Ty Tanner; great grandchildren, Riley, Sadie, Trey, Lansen, Trayla, Jesse, Kayleigh. Ava Cait and Michael; brother, Donnie Ray Zinsmeister (Ellen) and a Host of nieces, nephews, family and Friends.
