Minnie Johnson Franklin, 85, of Cullman, passed away on Saturday, Sep. 2, 2023. She was born Dec. 9, 1937. Mrs. Franklin was an English Teacher at Baker High School in Mobile for 30 years. She was a member of Cullman First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Lisa) Franklin; daughter, Dawn (Mike) Nelson; grandchildren, Amber Miller, Matt Overstreet, Marisa Fryar and Anna Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Winfred and Lena Mae Johnson; her husband, Bob Franklin and five siblings.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sep. 6, 2023 at 1pm at Moss Service Funeral Home, Dr. Tom Richter officiating; burial will follow in Cullman City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
