Title: “Identity”

Author: Nora Roberts

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Thoughts about the book: A truly fabulous book! A psychopath targets blond, slim women with money- he steals their identity- their assets, and then kills them. He changes his looks frequently and stays ahead of the law.

Title: “Glad You’re Here: Two Unlikely Friends Breaking Bread and Fences”

Author: Walker Hayes, Craig Allen Cooper

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Thoughts about the book: Two men, total opposites in almost every way, become fast friends. One is trying to break into the Nashville music scene, the other establishing a church there. Walker is an alcoholic atheist, but they bond as do their families. It is, in fact, the song he writes about Craig that gives his career a boost. It’s told by both men in alternating narratives.

Title: “The White Lady”

Author: Jacqueline Winspear

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Thoughts about the book: Really great historical fiction. Tribute to the women who fought WWI and WWII from the shadows.

Title: “The Final Girl Support Group”

Author: Grady Hendrix

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Thoughts about the book: Excellent horror/thriller with twists I didn’t predict. Both a tribute to and a scathing commentary on 80s/90s “slasher flicks” and the culture of violence as entertainment.
