Doris Elaine Turnali, affectionately known by her siblings as “Dottie,” passed from this life at her residence May 13, 2021 to her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born in Cullman to Lilburn T Wilkinson and Ethel Sanders Wilkinson. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Cullman County. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a talented and loving person. Even though she suffered from painful rheumatoid arthritis, she was always thoughtful of others, calling many to check on them. She will be missed greatly by her family and many others.
Funeral services are Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church, with interment in Enon Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband: Cevdet Turnali; sons: Cavit (Jolee) Turnali and Sacit Turnali and grandson: Johnny Turnali, her pride and joy. Survivors also include three sisters: Mary Ellen (David) Holmes, Nina (Martin) Nelson and Regina (Eric) Thompson; one brother: Tommy (Gail) Wilkinson, five nephews: Perry Holmes, Patrick Holmes, Paul Holmes, Martin Nelson and Todd Thompson and four nieces: Mischelle Cagle, Renee’ Arroyo, Jessica Halbrooks and Kate Wilkinson.
Visitation is Tuesday May 18, 2021 at Enon Baptist Church from noon until 2:00 p.m.
