Annual baby bottle fundraising drive underway for First Source for Women

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. – Faith-based pregnancy resource service First Source for Women has begun its annual baby bottle change fundraising drive. The monetary collection assists the Hanceville-based women’s clinic as the organization offers its free pregnancy services to those in need.  

The fundraiser distributes baby bottles in various churches throughout the county and encourage people will fill them with their extra change over the course of a couple of weeks. The money adds up to several thousand dollars which are used for free sonograms, training during pregnancy, counseling and free baby supplies after delivery.   

First Source’s services include free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds, as well as: 

  •  An “earn while you learn” parent training program that rewards parents and parents-to-be with “mommy money” to spend in the clinic’s boutique 
  • Ongoing prenatal and parenting support 
  • Referrals for community assistance 
  • Father mentoring program 
  • Sexual integrity program 
  • Support and counseling for those who have been through an abortion
