COLONY, Ala. – Colony council member Ethel Alexander brought a motion Tuesday evening to remove town clerk Patricia Ponder from her role.
The vote was nearly unanimous, minus council member Jasmine Cole which abstained. Council member Eric Carweel was not present for the meeting.
