Nov. 30 COVID-19 update: Record statewide hospitalizations; 53 hospitalized locally

CULLMAN, Ala. –  According to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), Cullman County added 35 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, with 3,321 cases confirmed across the county since the beginning of the pandemic. Of those, 789 were confirmed in just the last 14 days.

Statewide, the ADPH reported 2,080 new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours, with 30,856 in the last 14 days.

The ADPH also reported a record high 1,717 patients currently hospitalized across the state, the most since it reported 1,613 Aug. 6, 2020.

Cullman Regional on Monday reported 53 positive COVID patients currently hospitalized, with 11 on ventilators.
