Cullman County COVID-19 update: Oct. 27; cases, hospitalizations going up

CULLMAN, Ala. –  Cullman County surpassed 2,000 positive cases of COVID-19 last Saturday according to the Alabama Department of Public Health. As of today, there have been 2,069 cases confirmed across the county since the beginning of the pandemic. Of those, 456 were confirmed in just the last 14 days. The county added 25 cases in the last 24 hours.

Cullman Regional, which last Wednesday reported 12 positive patients, today reported to The Tribune a total of 24 positive patients, with two of those in the Critical Care Unit and one on a ventilator.

Statewide, the ADPH reported 1,001 patients are currently hospitalized, the highest number since Aug. 27.

Oct. 27 update from Cullman Regional

“We have 24 patients currently in the hospital. Two of those are in Critical Care. One is on a ventilator.”
