Cullman Regional Free PAD Screening Clinic

7 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Colonel Cullmann Room in POBII at Cullman Regional

Free Peripheral Artery Disease screening. Also includes the following free screenings: lipid panel, EKG (Electrocardiogram), blood pressure, ABI, bone density, PSA (for qualified participants).

Christmas in the Warehouse District

It’s that time of year again- Christmas in the Warehouse District will be kicking off Friday, Nov. 8 and going through Sunday, Nov. 10. We’ll have food trucks, snow, carriage rides, Christmas cookies and SANTA!!! Bring the whole family and enjoy the beginning of the holiday season and a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping.


Hanceville Masonic Lodge Swamp John’s Dinner

Hanceville Masonic Lodge will be hosting a Swamp John’s Dinner Nov. 8 from 4-7 p.m. at the Hanceville Assembly of God Fellowship Hall. All proceeds go to our Christmas for children fund. Contact Junior Heaton at 256-735-8022 for information.


89th Annual Alabama State Gospel Singing Convention

This year’s convention will be in Cullman County – held on the campus of Wallace State Community College in the Dr. William F. Peinhardt Conference Center. Join us for a weekend of song and praise, featuring “new book” convention music.

5-6 p.m. registration; 6-8 singing; refreshments

Continues Saturday: 9-10 a.m. registration; 10-11:30 singing; 11:30-1 lunch and business meeting; 1-3 afternoon singing session


2019 Christmas Window Display Contest

5-7 p.m.

There’s only one place in Cullman County where you can earn cash for your Christmas spirit — and that’s the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center! This year’s Christmas Window Display Contest is Friday, Nov. 8, starting at 5 p.m.

Winners will be selected from three categories: Retail, Restaurant, Service-Oriented and Home Decor Businesses. This year’s contest will be judged by representatives from outside the Cullman area. Entries will be scored based on visual impact, creativity and artistic ability. The only requirements are that participants are current Chamber members and that displays are Christmas-themed and incorporate lights.
