Obituary: Arabella Blevins

Arabella Blevins, 85, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home the early morning of Feb. 2, 2019. She was surrounded by family, friends, and her loving husband of 62 years.

Arabella is survived by her husband Bob G. Blevins, son Robert Lee Blevins, daughter-in-law Cindy Daniel Blevins, daughter Candice Maria Blevins, nephew Xavier Flores, her loving grandchildren Robert Travis Blevins, Taylor Daniel Blevins, James Alexander Shoaff and Aidan Robert Shoaff, sisters Lila Flores and Dolores Tamez, and brother Sammy Tamez.

She worked for over 30 years at Greif Brothers Corporation and following her retirement she continued her career as an interpreter for the legal community of Cullman. Arabella was bound by love and Christian faith, with the capacity to touch the lives of all she came in contact with.

She will truly be missed by all.

The family wants to sincerely thank the caregivers who were so compassionate to Arabella during the final years of her joyous life.

The family will receive friends at Moss Service Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The Memorial Mass will be Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with entombment to follow in St. Bernard’s Columbarium.
