Doris Ruth Baccus, 87, of Haleyville, entered into rest on Feb. 3, 2019 at Hendrix Health Care.
Ms. Baccus was born on Feb. 8, 1931, in Winston County. Doris was a member of Ashridge Community Church. She enjoyed working in the house and watching General Hospital and the Batchelor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Dr. Ron Horton will officiate. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Doris is survived by her sisters-in-laws; Flora Baccus, Magdaline Baccus, Clytee Baccus; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Octimie Baccus; brothers, Grady, Harley, William "Bill", J.C., Eddie, Walter, and Odis Baccus; sisters, Mae Knox, Letha Baccus, Nellie Horton, and Ila Horton.
