Betty Bryan McFarland passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 27, 1930, to Crawford Jackson and Laura B. Bryan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arthur McFarland; parents, Crawford Jackson and Laura B Bryan; son, Robert Michael McFarland; daughter, Laura Ann McFarland Monroe; and brother, Joe Bryan.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Smith and Mary Kate (Dan) McGuire; grandchildren, Lt. Colonel Robert John (Stacey) McFarland, Cheri McFarland (Eric) Teer, Jennifer Monroe (John) Gerstman, Kim Monroe (Brandon) Brewer, Patrick J. (Audra) Smith, C. Todd (Kristen) Smith, and Gabrielle C. McGuire; great-grandchildren, Airman 1st Class Robert Austin (Krista) McFarland, Brittany A. McFarland, Carson Michael McFarland, Tristan E. Teer, Kaeli J. Gerstman, Kristen T. Gerstman, Kaden W. Gerstman, Karly M. Agee, Easton M. Agee, Beckham R. Brewer, Barrett R. Brewer, Claire M. Smith, and Ella K. Smith; and a host of nieces, family, and friends.
