Funeral service for Arvel ‘Lightning’ Allison will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Larry Pruitt, Vance Hutton and Justin Guin are officiating with interment in Key Cemetery.
Mr. Allison passed away December 28, 2018. He was born September 17, 1948 to Bart and Ruth Stinson Allison. He was a faithful Christian man who worked for 49 years with law enforcement and was a school resource officer. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Dean Allison, and Jean Wells, and a brother Robert Allison.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Allison, sons, Andy (Heather) Allison and Japheth (Bre) Allison, daughters, Jennie (Paul) Allison and Andrea (Robbie) Allison, nephew like a son, Jeff (Donna) Greene, grandchildren, Titus, Thomas, Thatcher, and Hadley Allison, Gyver Clifton, Castiel and Saeko Allison, brothers Donald and Phene Allison and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
