CULLMAN – A Somerville man has been charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance in Cullman County.

On Dec. 10, Jack Richard Seifert, 34, was served with an arrest warrant while already incarcerated in the Cullman County Detention Center on unrelated charges.

The distribution charges stem from undercover operations in which Cullman Police Department Sgt. Chris Thomason, Sgt. Scott Sanford and Investigator Justin Craft, along with Officers Trey Higginbotham, Dustin Colburn and Cole Kelley conducted three controlled buys in which Seifert allegedly sold methamphetamine on one occasion and marijuana on two separate occasions.

Seifert is jailed on a $20,000 property bond.
