Obituary: Wanda Sue Tuggle

Wanda Sue Tuggle, 76 of Arley, passed away on March 15, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 12, 1939 in Boaz, AL. Wanda was a member of Arley First Baptist Church and she attended the Baptist Bible Institute. Wanda enjoyed bowling, yard work, shopping with her girlfriends and especially spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison where services will be held at 2 p.m. John Hoffman, Reyna Anderson and Celeste Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Nesmith Community Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Curtis Lee Tuggle; son, Chris Lee Tuggle and his wife Derenda; daughters, Reyna Anderson and her husband Ronnie, and Kimberly Conner and her husband Donald; she was Granny to 5 grandchildren, Brian Greer, Stacey Marksberry, Kelly Cockrell, Christopher Tuggle and Callie Fleming; and six great grandchildren, Olivia Marksberry, Nathan Marksberry, Rachel Marksberry, Cooper Joseph Greer and Alissah Tuggle.

She was the daughter of the late Claude and Irene Akins; she was preceded in death by her brothers, Merrell, Max and Harvel Akins; and sisters, Mildred Johnson, Janet Stephens, Wilma Grimsley and Claudia Yagley.
