CULLMAN – The Cullman County Sheriff's Office would like to remind the citizens of Cullman County about the availability of the Nixle Alert System.
You can sign up to receive Nixle Alerts from the Cullman County Sheriff's Office and get up-to-date information about such things as major car accidents/road closures, missing dementia patients, major weather events and criminal activities.
To sign up, text "25SHERIFF" to the number "888777". Nixle will text you back and ask for your zip code.
You may also sign up at www.nixle.com. Make sure to click on "Resident" when prompted.
While at www.nixle.com, you can also view current and recent alerts from your area, based on your zip code.
