Deborah was born in Huntsville, Alabama on May 28, 1953. She attended Arab High School and graduated with the class of 1972. During her high school years, Deborah traveled across the country performing as a majorette. Deborah went on to pursue a degree in education and proudly graduated in 1976 from Auburn University. She was a proud supporter of anything related to Auburn University.

Deborah retired as a speech pathologist from the Cullman County School system. If you spent any time with Deborah, you would hear her bragging about her children and grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter. She was incredibly proud of each member of her family and loved them all dearly.

Over recent months, Deborah battled health challenges that required chemotherapy and radiation treatment in Birmingham. She fought hard going to radiation daily for five weeks and chemotherapy once a week for five weeks. Ultimately, her body could not handle any more treatments, and she passed away peacefully at her home with Cortney and Austin by her side. Her survivors loved her unconditionally and know she is watching over them constantly now.
