CULLMAN, Ala. – John Wahl, Barry Moore, Katherine Robertson, Corey Hill, Jim “Zig” Zeigler and Everett Wess came out on top statewide in Tuesday’s Primary Runoff Elections.
Cullman County voters cast 7,844 ballots in the June 16 primary runoff, according to unofficial results from 50 of 51 boxes reporting.
The remaining box represents provisional ballots.
Republican ballots accounted for 7,683 of the total, while Democratic ballots accounted for 161.

- Wes Allen — 2,961 votes, 39.05%
- John Wahl — 4,621 votes, 60.95%
United States Senator
- Jared Hudson — 4,359 votes, 57.08%
- Barry Moore — 3,277 votes, 42.92%
Attorney General
- Jay Mitchell — 3,318 votes, 43.94%
- Katherine Robertson — 4,233 votes, 56.06%
Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries
- Corey Hill — 4,300 votes, 58.07%
- Christina Woerner McInnis — 3,105 votes, 41.93%
Public Service Commission, Place No. 2
- Chris Beeker — 4,191 votes, 56.80%
- Jim “Zig” Zeigler — 3,187 votes, 43.20%
Democratic Primary Runoff
United States Senator
- Dakarai Larriett — 94 votes, 58.39%
- Everett Wess — 67 votes, 41.61%
Cullman County has 66,835 registered voters. With 7,844 ballots cast, voter turnout for the runoff was approximately 11.74%.
