Larry was born to Thomas Jefferson Cooper and Helen Mauter Cooper on January 21, 1955.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher Cooper (Tabitha), and Nicholas Cooper (Samantha); grandchildren, Kayla Davis, and Blake Cooper (Haven) and Austin Davis (Erica), Josh Wren, Constance Wren, and Kaleb Davis; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Nova, Laz, Ava, Jackson, and Riley; sister, Janet Dyer (Robert); brother, Kent Cooper (Jean).
Family remembers Larry as a hardworking, intelligent, and strong-willed man who devoted his life to caring for and providing for his family. He believed in figuring things out, standing his ground, and never giving up when life became difficult. Though stubborn and determined, with a mind of his own, those qualities were part of what made him unique. Beneath his strong exterior was a generous heart and a deep love for his family. He was always willing to help those in need and share his strength and knowledge with others.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army and enjoyed traveling and discovering new places. Above all, he cherished the life he built with his beloved wife. They shared many years, ordinary days, and unforgettable moments that became treasured memories. Losing her so recently has made saying goodbye to him even more painful, but it brings comfort to believe that the woman he loved so dearly was waiting for him and that they are now reunited beyond sickness, sorrow, and goodbye.
His family will miss his voice, advice, strength, and presence. They will miss the way he helped, the wisdom he shared, and even the stubbornness that made him uniquely himself. Though he is no longer here, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will remain forever in their hearts. His life will be remembered through the family he loved, the lives he touched, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
