SOUTH VINEMONT, Ala. – Residents of South Vinemont will have an opportunity to clean up their properties and dispose of unwanted items during the Town of South Vinemont’s Community Clean-Up Day, scheduled for June 11-13.
The event will take place daily from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. behind the Vinemont-Providence Fire Department at 88 Ridgeway St. Two roll-off dumpsters will be available for residents to dispose of items that cannot be collected through regular household trash service.
Town officials said the event is intended to help residents clean up their properties while improving the overall appearance of the community.
“This is a great way to keep South Vinemont clean,” they said.
The clean-up event is open exclusively to South Vinemont residents. Participants will be provided a decal or signage identifying them as eligible to use the dumpsters.
Certain items will not be accepted, including tires, construction materials such as rocks, dirt, bricks and concrete, hazardous materials including oil, paint and pesticides, and oil or fuel waste.
