Linda Faye Lamons, 74, of Vinemont, Alabama, passed away Wednesday morning, May 27, 2026, at the age of 74. Linda was born in Anniston, Alabama, on December 8, 1951, to the late Burton and Willie Faye Lemley Fielder.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Lamons; daughter, Kimberly Lamons; and grandson, Dakota Lamons.
Those left to cherish the many memories of Linda include her sons, Steven Lamons (Jessica), Jonathan Lamons (Tammy), William Lamons (Amy); siblings, Danny Fielder, Larry Fielder, Gary Fielder, Jerry Fielder, Deborah Fielder; grandchildren, Emily Coggins, Hailey Smalls, Cynthia Lamons, Nicholas Lamons, Ninah Adair, Stephanie Branca, Ryan Lamons, Dwight Pridmore, Desirae Pridmore, Michelle; fourteen great-grandchildren; and best friend, Nancy Daniels.
Linda was always willing to help others. Her family and friends knew she could hold her own when she had to but would do anything to help someone in need. She was a loving mother to her children and was always happy to babysit her grandchildren. Linda enjoyed crocheting, playing games on her computer, making ceramics, and going to yard sales.
Linda was a spunky lady who had a free spirit about her, and she will be missed by many.
The Lamons family will honor Linda’s memory in a family memorial at a later time.
