Funeral Service for Mary E Shikle, age 86 of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Eugene Loyd officiating; burial at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shikle passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at St. Vincent’s Hospital . She was born Saturday, October 14, 1939 in Cullman, AL to Albert Henry Kimbril and Rosie Bell Kimbril. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 64 years, Frank Shikle; brothers, Earl Kimbril, Tommy Kimbril, and Lee Kimbril; sisters, Louise Hyatt and Mae Helms; son-in-law, Joe Spradlin; and daughter-in-law, Sandy Shikle.
Survivors include her children, Lisa Spradlin, Darren (Donna Dunn) Shikle, Delane (Cathy Heald) Shikle, and Dale (Valarie) Shikle; grandchildren, Chad (Kristi) Spradlin, Cody Shikle, Jason Spradlin, and Selina (Colton) Strickland; great grandchildren, Keegan and Mason Strickland, Logan and Gage Spradlin, Ella Spradlin, Levi Shikle, McKennzie Myers, Jacie and Jalee Griggs; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
