CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism (CPRST) will host Summer Swim Days May 24-July 26 at the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center (CWAC) and WildWater Cullman for participants in the Therapeutic Recreation Program.

Swim days are meant to give back to Therapeutic Recreation participants by offering chances for recreation and family time. Organizers say the program helps participants enjoy quality time with their families and use CPRST facilities in a welcoming, inclusive setting. Besides the social benefits, the program also offers therapeutic and recreational value. Participants can exercise, play and spend time with friends while enjoying all the amenities. Officials say combining physical activity with social time is key to the experience.

CWAC and WildWater Cullman will welcome Therapeutic Recreation participants at no cost. On swim days, participants will have full access to attractions, including swimming pools, special features and the new Paradise Lazy River.

CPRST officials said they hope all participants in the Therapeutic Recreation Program can attend at least one swim day this summer. To join, participants must register at www.CullmanRecreation.org so organizers can compile a list of swimmers.

To participate and receive promotional offers, participants must register by May 20. Admission is free for participants, while parents and additional guests may purchase discounted tickets at WildWater after checking in at the front gate. There is no cost associated with swim days at the CWAC indoor pool for participants.
