VINEMONT, Ala. – The Town of South Vinemont will host its fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 29, from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Vinemont Community Center.
The event, held in partnership with local churches, will feature hundreds of hidden eggs filled with candy, small toys and special prize tickets. To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants, designated hunting areas will be set up by age group. Age groups include ages 1-3, 4-6 and 7 and up. Attendees are required to bring their own Easter baskets for the hunt.
“This is our fourth year doing this event, and it’s always a great time for families,” said Town Clerk Kayecea Sasser. “Children will have the chance to search for hundreds of hidden eggs, and we’ll have separate areas at different times for each age group to keep things fun and fair. We’ll also have free hotdogs, chips and drinks, along with photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.”
She added, “Events like this bring people together. You’ll meet new friends, reconnect with familiar faces and strengthen the bonds that make our community special. In a world that often feels rushed, this is a chance to slow down and share laughter and joy.”
