Funeral Service for Betty Zane Thomason, age 95 of Vinemont, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church with Tim McCormick officiating; burial at Cullman Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thomason passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her residence. She was born, December 22, 1930, to Charlie Gold Evans and Eddie Aileen Haynes Evans.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ethredge E. Thomason, Sr.; son, Eugene E. Thomason, Jr.; grandson, Auston R. Thomason; brother, Kerry Wayne Evans and sister, Peggy Jane Williams.
Survivors include her son, Ted Randy Thomason; granddaughters, Melissa Johnson (Jay), Robin Brock (Thomas) and Nevaeh Thomason; grandson, Chris Thomason (Ginger); great grandchildren, Peyton & Taylor Campbell, Kacey & Jenna Johnson, Trendyn Thomason, and a host of nieces and nephews.
