CULLMAN, Ala. – Whether you’re a current business owner, looking to launch a start-up, a professional of any age or simply want to learn about opportunities, networking is essential. There are several opportunities to do so across the community, many offered by the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center.
Cup O’ Community
Cup O’ Community was launched by the Chamber in 2025, and takes place at different places throughout the county, using Member coffee trailers. The aim is to bring a casual networking environment for community members and local leaders to communicate. These events are free and the first 25 cups of coffee are free!
The next Cup O’ Community event will take place Tuesday, March 24, from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Cullman Festhalle Farmers Market. You can chat with members from the Cullman City Council and enjoy coffee from Karma’s Coffee House.
Coffee & Connections
The Chamber’s Cullman Young Professionals group hosts energizing Coffee & Connections events at Karma’s Coffee House, 103 First Ave. NE #140 in the Warehouse District. Said the YPs, “This is your chance to meet like-minded individuals (age 21-40), share ideas and make connections over a cup of coffee.” Coffee is typically provided, as well as the chance to win door prizes after a morning of chatting.
The next Coffee & Connections event is scheduled for Friday, April 17, from 7:30-9 a.m. at Karma’s. These events are free.
Bring Your Lunch and Learn
Bring Your Lunch and Learns are held at the Chamber, 301 Second Ave SW, Cullman. They typically last from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Attendees are advised to bring their own lunch for a session on various topics. While these are primarily for learning, they’re also great opportunities to network with other professionals.
The next Bring Your Lunch and Learn event will be Tuesday, March 24, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce. The topic will be “The Multigenerational Workplace.” Said the Chamber: “This engaging Bring Your Lunch & Learn session focused on navigating today’s multigenerational workplace. As organizations bring together team members from a variety of age groups and experiences, understanding how to work effectively across generations has become more important than ever.”
