Graveside service for Robert Daniel ‘Danny’ Tilley, 86, of Logan will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 19th, 2026, at New Hope #1 Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m.

Mr. Tilley passed away Sunday, March 15th, 2026, at his residence. He was born December 21, 1939, to Ophir O. & Elsie F. Laney Tilley. Danny was a poultry farmer. He loved working in the garden, collecting Indian artifacts, was an Alabama football fan, and loved watching his grandkids play sports.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to his favorite charity, St. Jude’s Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Okalene Tilley; brother, Jimmy Tilley; sister, Rebecca Tilley; grandson, Nathan Tilley; son-in-law, Jimmy Overton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Kalen (Mary) Tilley; daughter; Rhonda (Jeff) Bates; brother, Larry Tilley; grandchildren, Jodi (Jeremy) Hopper, Wesley (Malorie) Campbell, Blake (Danielle) Overton, Kaleb (Kat) Tilley, Travis (Caycee) Overton, Ethan (Haley) Tilley, Zack (Jamie Beasley) Tilley; great-grandchildren, Brody (Brylie Pearce) Hopper, Bryce (Maddie) Doyle, Brittlee Hopper, Blayklee, Houston, Hayes Overton, Oaklee, Arlie, Ellie Overton, Noah, Shepard Campbell, Kason, Kollins Tilley, Cooper, Addison, Olivia Tilley; sister-in-law, Clara Tilley; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Joyce) Reese’ nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hopper, Blake Overton, Travis Overton, Wesley Campbell, Kaleb, Ethan, Zack Tilley. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
