Randy D. Ballard, born on October 29, 1955, in Cullman, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, in Cullman. He was beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Randy was born to the late Fred and Estell Ballard, who preceded him in death. His family remembers him as a kind and generous soul, devoted to those he loved. Surviving Randy are his brother, Freddie Steve Ballard and his wife Deborah; his sister, Debbie Lynn Nation and her husband Randy; and his brother, Michael Anthony Ballard. He was also a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews Renee Lollar, Rebecca Ballard, and Andrew Nation along with Andrew’s wife, Tasia. His great nieces Jolene Lollar, Rosalie Nation, and Delanie Nation brought him immense joy. Randy is also survived by his aunt, Faye Staney and her husband Clarence, as well as a wide circle of cousins and friends. 

The family will receive friends and loved ones for visitation at Hanceville Funeral Home on March 16, 2026, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Randy’s life will be held at the funeral home on March 17, 2026, beginning at 2 p.m., with services concluding at 3 p.m. Bro. Trueman Davis will officiate services. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. 

Randy D. Ballard’s life was one of warmth and steadfast devotion to family. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love and kindness will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His family and friends mourn his loss but also hold deep gratitude for the time shared with him. 

His memory will be treasured and his story forever remembered by those who loved him most.
