Funeral services for Timothy Joe Smith, 61, of Cullman, AL will be 12 p.m. Saturday, November 15th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Zion Grove Cemetery. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Saturday at Hanceville Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Timothy “Bo Bo Dillingham” Smith, born August 24, 1964, in Huntsville, Alabama, was a bright light whose joy and laughter touched everyone who knew him. The beloved son of Lucille & Glen Smith, Bo was known for his sweet spirit, infectious smile, and sense of humor that could lift any room. He loved life’s simple pleasures — going out to eat, playing cards, cheering on his favorite Alabama football team, and dressing sharp in his favorite jogging suits. No matter what challenges came his way, Bo remained positive and full of joy, showing everyone around him that there is power in a grateful heart and a cheerful spirit. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, laughter, and unwavering happiness.
Bo, a son, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin answered God’s call to eternal rest on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Cullman Regional Hospital. He accepted Christ at an early age and deeply loved the Lord.
Bo leaves to cherish his memory: sisters, Lisa Brown (Chuck) and Linda Dillingham; brothers, Tony Smith and Randy Smith (Debra); aunts, Debra Stanley, Annette Johnson (Clavin), Katherine Vanzandt, and Patricia Stidham; uncles; Darwin Thomas and Kenneth Thomas (Penny); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Bo was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Lucille &Glen Smith, and brother, Tracy Smith.
