Delmer Louis Peebles, age 82, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Delmer was born in AL.
He loved fishing and southern gospel music. He also enjoyed growing a yearly garden. Delmer was learning to cook recently, and making cornbread had become his favorite.
Delmer is survived by his daughter Christin Brown (Mickey); his son Treal Peebles (Susie); his son Wes Barbee (Sarah); and his son Justin Barbee (Megan); his brother Ross Peebles (Marilou), his brother Ussery Peebles (Cristina), his brother Pelmer Peebles, his sister Janet Vest and his sister Joan Theusch (Jim); his grandson Brian Peebles (Bridgett), his grandson Tyler Harrison (Tabatha), his grandson Kody Peebles, his granddaughter Karlie Puckett (Drake), his granddaughter Kaitlyn Greenfield (Nick), his grandchild Klain Barbee, his grandchild Dane Mauldin, his grandchild Kinzlee Barbee, his grandchild Sarah Cofield, his grandchild George Cagle, his grandchild Crystal Price, his great grandchildren Aliviah and Ayden Peebles, his great grandchildren Luke and Adalynn Harrison, his great grandchild Adilynn Puckett and his great grandchild Carter Greenfield and several nieces, nephews, other family members and, friends.
Delmer was preceded in death by his wife Janet Peebles; his son Brandon Peebles; his father Elmer Louis Peebles and his birth mother Mattie Bernice Box Peebles; his sister Vernous Grisham; his sister Yvonne Millwood and his sister Carolyn Cagle (Marlin).
A celebration of life visitation for Delmer will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home. Celebration of life will occur on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. A burial will follow on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Bethlehem East Baptist, 31 Co Rd 539, Hanceville, AL 35077.
