CULLMAN, Ala. – Local nonprofit Hope Horses, Inc. will host its highly anticipated Grow Hope capital campaign dinner on Thursday, July 24, at 6 p.m. at its facility on Convent Road in Cullman. The event will unite community leaders, local businesses and advocates for an evening dedicated to expanding Hope Horses’ mission and securing a permanent facility to serve even more families across north Alabama.

Hope Horses is a nonprofit therapeutic riding center that empowers children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges through equine-assisted horsemanship opportunities. The upcoming event serves as a major milestone in its $1.5 million “Grow Hope” capital campaign, which will fund the purchase of land, construction of a purpose-built facility and expanded programming for underserved communities.

Attendees will enjoy a four-course dinner prepared by Chef Lindsey Noto King, live music and powerful stories from the riders and families who have experienced the magic of Hope Horses firsthand.

“This event is deeply personal to all of us,” said Executive Director Kelsey Scott. “Every dollar raised on July 24 helps us take a step closer to building a forever home — one where healing becomes possible through the power of horses.”

“Hope Horses changes lives, and it’s time for our community to help them grow,” said Josh Wiggins, capital campaign chair and owner of Johnny’s Bar-B-Q. “This isn’t just about land. It’s about giving more families access to something that truly works. I’ve seen what this program does, and I’m proud to be part of the movement to make it permanent.”

Hope Horses expressed thanks to event sponsors RE Garrison and Garrison Gives Hope. Local businesses, churches and civic leaders are encouraged to show their support for a mission that serves not just Cullman, but the entire north Alabama region.
