Gina Ann Howard, age 59, passed away July 15 at Decatur Morgan Hospital after a short illness. She passed away peacefully with her husband Rick and mother, Rita Birdsong by her side. She was born January 16, 1967, at Decatur General Hospital and was preceded in death by her father James Birdsong and grandparents, Troy and Grace McDowell Stewart.
She was a Registered Nurse for about 23 years and helped so many patients and loved her Hospice patients in and around Huntsville. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ.
Gina is survived by her loving husband Rick Howard and mother, Rita Stewart Birdsong; mother in-law, Janice Putnman and brother-in-law Mike Howard. She is also survived by cousins, Karla Sullivan,Guntersville, Neah Duke,Birmingham, Nea Hanscomb,San Diego,CA, Virginia (Ginger) D’Angelo, San Leandro, CA and Sonia Watson, Temecula, CA; one aunt, Thorice Bisek and her husband, Denny Bisek, of Rio Vista, CA.
There will be a private graveside service and burial at Spring Hill Church Cemetery, Cullman, Alabama with Cullman Heritage Funeral Home in charge.
