CULLMAN, Ala. – The 4th of July Jeep Invasion – America’s Block Party will be held July 3-4 at JG’s Campen Life RV Campground. Hosted by Alabama Jeep Outfitters, JG’s Campen Life RV Campground and Twisted Terrain Off-Road, the event will feature live music, fireworks, family activities and fundraising efforts benefiting Cullman Caring for Kids.

“This event is especially unique in that it is Cullman’s only official America’s Block Party event, one of only six officially recognized America’s Block Party celebrations in Alabama and the only one located within approximately an hour of Cullman,” said Alabama Jeep Outfitters Co-founder Brittany Sides. “As America begins celebrating the road to our nation’s 250th birthday, we are honored to help bring that celebration to North Alabama.”

The kick-off celebration begins Friday, July 3, with what organizers are calling a “Jump Start to the 4th of July Celebration.” The Friday activities are for those staying at JG’s Campen Life RV Campground and will include patriotic rock painting at 2 p.m., foam playtime at 4 and a family movie night at 8.

The main celebration continues Saturday, July 4, featuring patriotic-themed Jeep displays, vendors, contests, live music from Brad Thomas Project and Brett Carlisle and The Mason Jar Prophets, family activities and a fireworks show at dusk. The event is open to the public, with free admission for campers and $5 admission for all other attendees.

One of the event’s featured attractions will be a charity rubber duck race benefiting Cullman Caring for Kids as part of the national Giving Fourth initiative, which encourages communities to celebrate Independence Day through service and generosity.

“As part of that effort, proceeds from our Rubber Duck Charity Race will benefit Cullman Caring for Kids, helping support local children and families right here in our community,” Sides said.

The event will also give attendees the opportunity to purchase commemorative military tribute flags in honor of or in memory of veterans who have served in the United States military. For $25, families can purchase a tribute flag featuring a loved one’s photo, last name and military branch. Those interested can scan the QR code on the event flyer to submit their tribute.

“Independence Day is about more than fireworks and celebrations,” Sides shared. “It’s also about remembering the sacrifices that have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy today. We hope these flags provide a meaningful way for families to recognize veterans, active-duty service members and loved ones who have worn our nation’s uniform.”

“As an organization, Alabama Jeep Outfitters was founded on the idea of bringing people together, supporting local communities and creating opportunities to give back,” she added. “This event embodies all of those values while providing a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate our nation’s independence.”
