CULLMAN, Ala. – The Mary Carter Store on Saturday, June 20, held a special “Make & Take” workshop for Father’s Day. The activity encouraged participants to get hands-on, crafting personalized keychains to celebrate a day all about dads and father figures.
Business Development Lead Melissa Jones said the workshop was very busy. Custom 3D printed items were made by Manager Jeff Young.
“When we run low, he has been printing more,” she said that day.
The keychains featured charms such a fishing bobbers, fish and keepsake items reading “#1 Dad.”
Not only did the event offer a fun, family experience, but it also gave back to the community. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to local nonprofit The Link of Cullman County.
